Board Meeting Wed Feb 24 in Downtown Miami (Meeting Notes)

Our February board meeting was held Wednesday, February 24th in Downtown Miami at 6:30 pm.

The objective of this meeting was to plan out events for the next 2-3 months and fill open board positions.

Location provided by Ralph Rivera, US Private Banking Relationship Manager, Scotia Private Client Group, 201 S. Biscayne Blvd., Suite 1320, Miami FL 33131.

Meeting Notes:

• Due Free Participation:  Cornell Club will no longer be charging dues.  All alumni are members.
• Board Positions open:
  • Secretary – we need a secretary to record notes and post to website.
  • Book Award Director – this person sets up the awards we give in 10 high schools across Dade County.
• Board Positions filled:
  • Co-Programming Chair – Dan Berler will help plan networking events
  • Business Directory Chair – Joel Hernandez will manage the business directory on the website
